Riley has over a decade of experience in technology and operations roles, with a particular focus on improving processes. Their work has ranged widely within tech, from surveying and installing hybrid fiber-radio connected networks, to managing hundreds of new daily support contacts, at every step they have focused on making incremental improvements to the overall flow of work. A guiding principle for Riley is the idea that doing challenging work does not have to feel painful, and wherever it does is an important clue to guide improvement. Identifying friction and focusing on the actual experience of doing work can help teams be more efficient and feel better prepared for the unexpected.

Riley has worked with small business, regional providers, and large corporations, and brings an empathetic and friendly attitude to suit your specific needs. They have a passion for developing flexible plans and collaborating on tricky problems to find simple solutions. 

Outside of work Riley enjoys hosting tabletop or roleplaying games, building miniature models, crafting with leather, and exploring the forests and beaches of the San Francisco Bay area, California.
